Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP)

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan works for holistic development of all students, in all fields,
alongwith academics. Students get chances to participate in Sports, Scouts-Guides, NCC, Ek
Bharat Shreshth Bharat, and many more. When students participate in these events within or
outside Vidyalaya, their classes are missed and they get academic loss. In order to compensate
this academic loss, various classes are being organized by PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Chh.
Sambhaji Nagar Cantt. Some of these are –

• Zero Period Classes
• Remedial Classes
• Extra Classes during light period, if required.
• Extra Classes during Assembly, if required.
• Extra Classes in absence of a subject teacher.
